The technology department is dedicated to making technology accessible to all students.
Laveen has a 1:1 student-to-device ratio with over 8,000 Chromebooks, 100 iPads, 400 teacher laptops, and an interactive Promethean board in each classroom. In addition to ensuring that the numerous technology devices throughout Laveen schools function correctly, the technology department manages how technology is integrated into daily instruction. The use of technology by teachers and students for communication and collaboration, and in support of critical thinking and creativity, is essential to learning the skills and competencies necessary to prepare students for college and careers.
